TYPES OF EVALUATION

Types of Evaluation

Document-by-Document Evaluations (also known as "General Evaluations" or "Diploma/ Degree Evaluations") are used for employment, immigration and college admission purposes. Document-by-Document evaluation reports provide a general summary of credentials presented for evaluation and their U.S. equivalents. No courses or grades are included in the general evaluation report.

The price of document-by-document evaluation is $110 (includes all submitted credentials). One original report is included in the price of evaluation. Regular processing time is 10 business days (~ 2 weeks). Rush service is available (additional fees apply).

Course-by-Course Evaluations (sometimes called "Transcript Evaluations") are used for licensing and higher education purposes including graduate school admission and transfer of credit. Course-by-Course evaluation reports provide a detailed description of credentials presented for evaluation and their U.S. equivalents. All applicable courses and grades are included in the evaluation report. Hours of study are converted into semester hours of credit (US Carnegie Classification™ system). Grades are converted into a 4-point system for purposes of GPA (Grade Point Average calculation).

The price of course-by-course evaluation is $220. If multiple college or university transcripts are submitted for evaluation, a consolidation fee of $70 applies (consolidation of credits and grades). One original report is included in the price of evaluation. Regular processing time is 10 business days (~ 2 weeks). Rush service is available (additional fees apply).
